Intelligence For Sale

It is to be taken for-granted that creator of a thing will always hold an exclusive privilege and that privilege comes by definition. The creators of different eras have been groomed and rewarded by the cultural trends of age.

With changing technology art forms have vanished. Calligraphy and writing was replaced by printers and computers, sculpting by industrial revolution and 3d printing and so on. We now stand at the transition to yet another major change. The era where intelligence will be for sale. Intelligence at the price of sand(literally) and self learning just like that of humans.

In this process of translating human intelligence into world of bits there is something held back, something so intrinsic and fundamental to humans that it is inseparable and also can’t be replicated. That something should also be what brings about human creativity. Something as fundamental as origin of life. And it’s that something that hasn’t vanished despite the changing trends of our creative history.

Karl Popper a famous philosopher of science posits that “all life is problem solving”. It follows then that quest to problem-solving is the only thing humans will have monopoly over AI agents.

As AI revolution takes over it is that quest manifested as curiosity which will form the basis of economic distribution which is to say that thing will be what will decide the distribution of resources.
